Kingfisher Rimu Pendant
The sacred kingfisher (Kotare) is one of the best known birds in New Zealand. You may recognise the hunched deep greeny blue silhouette waiting on a powerline or other elevated position where they wait for their prey.
They are called “sacred” because many believe them to have control over the waves and power over the ocean.
Materials: 100% Real Rimu Wood (NZ Native wood) veneer. Paint.
