Mike Glover
Mike lives and works in Springston South, near Christchurch. An exhibiting artist since the early 90s, he works mostly in soft/chalk pastels which gives his work its distinctive soft yet vibrant look.
He is drawn to interpret the landscape, especially the iconic braided rivers of the South Island. In his own words: “Looking down on a silvery river winding through a valley, or a vista of tumbled mountains, is food for the soul".
